Submissions 
For the past 20 years or more we have held regular exhibitions at our shop, of both local and national artists & engravers, including Edward Bawden, Chris Wormell, The Society of Wood Engravers, Alfred Stockham, and John Langton.
Now, we are offering wall space at our very busy shop to suitable artists, to set up a rolling programme of mixed exhibitions, which will take place in between our more formal shows.
There is exhibition space both in the gallery area within the shop, and also in the window, and the shows will be announced on our website. The artists will be responsible for any additional publicity.
Each show would last around one month, and feature a selection of artists; each having their own space.
Smaller scale works would fit better within the spaces provided, maximum of 20" x 20" , although one or two larger works can be accommodated. All paintings should be professionally framed and wired ready for hanging, or mounted and sealed.
Artists should provide details of themselves in the form of an artist’s statement
An agreed commission on sales will be taken by Spelman's.
Insurance of all works to be the responsibility of the exhibiting artists.
